How To Maintain Liver Health

Do you drink enough water?  Did you know most Americans are dehydrated?  We drink liquids, but we don’t drink water.  With the quality of our water, that may not be a bad thing.  But that is not a good thing either.

If the liver doesn’t have enough water to flush out the toxins it cleans out of our blood. They become lodge there, purify and become infections.  Pop, coffee, and alcohol actually deplete water from the body.  Milk and juice take water to digest the nutrients out of them, and so our hair and skin suffer.  Joints ache. We gain weight.

The liver has to have water to function, so other organs go lacking.  Even the brain gives up water to keep the body functioning.  This causes brain fog.

Please leave a comment if you have had any experience with dehydration. It is an important topic in liver health.
